With the high cost of living many of us struggle, whether on benefits or are working. I witness the queues at FoodBank. People feel their dignity has been robbed away. Some feel embarrassed even though grateful for help.
The aim of the community pantry is to reduce food waste and allow families to come buy food at affordable prices. By working with supermarkets and food suppliers the community pantry will provide food that would otherwise be thrown away. Together we can help to reduce food waste and save the planet!
